Founded in 1938, the Weathervane Women's Board provides voluntary service and financial assistance to the Playhouse.
Ever since its founding, the Women's Board has continued to energize the theater's youth-education programs, sponsored productions, spearheaded fundraisers, and paid for many of the amenities theater volunteers, patrons, and staff enjoy in the theater's Green Room and kitchen.
The members of this active group are invaluable as hostesses, ushers, office helpers, onstage performers and backstage volunteers. The Women's Board sponsors an annual puppet presentation for children and also operates the Gift Boutique and the BankOne Visual Arts Gallery, both of which are housed in the Playhouse lobby.
New members are always welcomed and encouraged!
