AUDITION: OCTOBER 9th - Children's Choir for "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"
Akron's Holiday Tradition Returns to the Weathervane Stage this November!
We are currently seeking talented performers, ages 9 to 14, to dance and sing with the Children's Choir of our upcoming production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."
Auditions will take place Saturday, October 9th from 2:30PM to 3:30PM

WHAT TO PREPARE
- Please bring a headshot and/or resume, if you have one.
- Please prepare 16 to 32 bars of a song in one of the styles of the show - but NOT from the show itself. Please bring sheet music for your song (in the appropriate key) with you to the audition; an accompanist will be provided.
- Please bring your calendar with you to the auditions in order to declare any scheduling conflicts between October 11th and November 12th.
- Please arrive fifteen minutes prior to your scheduled audition time to complete audition forms.
Production Information
Rehearsals will begin October 11th. Choir members will only be called for rehearsal when needed. Performances start at 7:30 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 on Sundays.
Attendance is required for all Technical Rehearsals (6:00 to 9:00pm November 14 through 17) and Performances. Performances will be on November 18 - 21 and 26 - 28 as well as December 2-5, 9-12 and 16 - 19. In addition to the standard performances, there will be two day time shows on November 30 and December 14 that start at 10:00 am and a possible day time performance on December 8.
COVID Guidelines
All auditioners and accompanying family members are required to wear a mask to enter the building and need to remain masked until after leaving.
All performers under the age of 12 who cannot be vaccinated at the time of performances will be required to wear masks during said performances.
