Weathervane mourns the passing of legend, Eileen Moushey
It is with a heavy heart that we share news of the passing of a true Weathervane legend, Eileen Moushey, whose extraordinary impact on our Playhouse cannot be overstated.
For decades, Eileen devoted herself with remarkable passion to every aspect of our theater – as a performer, director, designer, board member, and dedicated volunteer. Her leadership as co-chair of two major capital campaigns was instrumental in building the playhouse we cherish today. Simply put, Weathervane would not be what it is without her vision, dedication, and tireless work.
Eileen's commitment to excellence and profound love for theater inspired everyone who worked with her. She was a beloved mentor to many and a treasured friend to all in our theater community. Her enduring legacy lives on through the Ten Minute Play Festival that proudly bears her name.
Our hearts go out to Stephen and the entire Moushey family, and to all her many Weathervane friends and family who were touched by her remarkable spirit.
